She has a degree in Music Composition from Portland State University where she also played violin in chamber ensembles and Jazz Combos, and sang in the Vox Femina female choir. She has a passion for teaching and music and sharing the joy of making music with others. Homeschooled from Kindergarten through high school she loves working with homeschool students. She is passionate about teaching her students not only to play a wide variety of music, but also to express themselves by composing and improvising music of their own.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia University in Elementary Education, as well as an Oregon Teaching License. I have taught in the public school system for three years and have an additional five years of experience in alternative education institutions. I have a visual arts degree from Master's School of Art. I love painting and sharing my love for painting with others! I look forward to a colorful year, exploring the world of art!

Becky Fowler - Coordinator, Tutor

Becky Fowler has been married to her husband, Rob, for nearly 22 years. She is the mom of three boys; one of whom has graduated from the FCCT program and another who is currently involved. She has been homeschooling for 14 years. Becky is also the mother of a special needs adult child, who keeps her young (and tired😃). Her desire to homeschool is not only to provide her boys a great education, but, primarily, that they would fully embrace their own relationship with Christ. This will be the family's 6th year at FCCT. Last year Becky volunteered as the hall monitor and substitute tutor. She is the newest member of the FCCT leadership team and will be monitoring 2 study halls this school year. She also has a passion for prayer and a burden to bring new students and their families into the FCCT community.

Phil Gaskill is a Science Writer for Cramer Fish Sciences in Gresham, Oregon.  Phil began pursuing his interest in the history of science in college and has been a student of the history, philosophy, and methodology of science for more than twenty-seven years. He gave his first creation science presentation at the Second International Conference on Creationism in Pittsburgh in 1990, has published articles in both creation and secular peer-reviewed science journals, and speaks periodically on the subjects of origins and earth history at area churches.

Jeanne LOVES teaching math! Although truthfully, math is just the medium through which she finds ways to alter her teaching style to influence individual student’s learning styles so they find success and self confidence in life! Teaching homeschooled students and tutoring privately for 25 years has not caused her enthusiasm to wane. In fact, you will often find her hungry after math class because she expends so much energy with students. She has a passion for math, but only because confidence in math changes your outlook on school and often on life!
